From the box on your doorstep to scans in your inbox. About a week from posting the film.

The kit arrives
Camera, 3 films, travel bag, prepaid mailer. Ready to go, nothing to set up.

You shoot it
Load the film in 30 seconds. Point, shoot, wind on. 24 shots a roll. No screen, no retakes.

Post it back
Films go in the prepaid mailer and into any postbox. Postage is already covered.

Photos land
Every frame developed and scanned, in your inbox about a week after you send them.

Reusable. Not a disposable.
A disposable is one roll and then a bin. This is the same camera, year after year, and today it costs you nothing.
- 28mm wide lens. Friends, chaos, background, context. Photos that feel like memories rather than crops
- Built-in flash. Works indoors, at parties, at late dinners and in bad light
- Mechanical wind. One thumb, one click between shots. Every frame becomes a decision
- Single AA battery. Replace it in any corner shop, anywhere
- Yours to keep forever, from day one, even if you cancel or refund
No lab. No second payment.
The bit everyone gets stuck on is what happens after you have shot the roll. This is the part we own, and it is the reason the plan exists.
- A prepaid return mailer comes in the box. Postage covered in both directions
- Developing is already paid for. No second bill when the film comes back
- Send one roll or send three together, whenever suits you
- Photos are back within 72 hours of the film reaching us, so about a week after posting
- Want the negatives? Ask when you send them and we post them back, no charge

Meet Niras.
Our own seasonal 35mm. Soft, warm and forgiving. Made for the everyday: light through windows, friends across tables, the bits between the moments. Three rolls today, three more every 90 days when the season changes.
- 24 shots per roll. Three rolls means 72 frames per delivery
- C-41 process. Standard processing, develop it anywhere if you would rather
- Airport safe. Goes through scanners without a problem
- Any 35mm works in a CATCH camera if you want to try something else
Photos you would actually print.
Every photo below was shot on a CATCH camera by a real customer. Nothing retouched, nothing staged, and some of it not technically very good.

"First time I'd ever shot film. The tips you sent made it actually fun to learn, not intimidating. Photos came back and it felt like being back there. Way better than the phone photos from the same weekend."
"I was fed up of scrolling so I took a CATCH on holiday instead of my phone. The photos are so cool. Easy to share afterwards. Genuinely the best thing I did on the trip."
"Since I got my CATCH, I've spent less time on my phone. The photos are sooo nice. It's the only camera I use now for trips that matter."

Am I buying once, or am I subscribing?
You are subscribing. You pay £25 today, the camera is free and yours to keep forever, and the plan then charges £25 a month for your film and developing. Every 3 months a new box of 3 films and 3 development credits arrives. Cancel any time from your account and nothing further is charged.
What exactly turns up, and when?
Today: the camera, 3 rolls of Niras 35mm, 3 development credits, a corduroy travel bag and a prepaid return mailer, shipped within 48 hours. Then every 3 months, 3 fresh rolls and 3 more development credits. Your photos come back by email about a week after you post a roll.
How does the developing work?
There is a prepaid return mailer in your box. When you finish a roll, put it in, drop it in any postbox and that is it. Postage is covered in both directions and the developing is already paid for as part of the plan. We develop and scan every frame and email you the digital photos. You are never asked for a second payment when the film comes back.
Why is the camera free?
Because the camera is not really the product. The film and the developing are. Giving you the camera up front means you can start today rather than paying £60 for something you are not sure you will use. It is yours from day one and it stays yours even if you cancel or refund.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, one button in your account. You keep the camera and anything already shipped. No questions, no fee, no notice period.
What film do you use?
We make our own 35mm films in limited runs. This season it is Niras, golden and grainy, forgiving, and it loves summer sun and flash photos of people up close. Any other 35mm film also works in a CATCH camera if you want to try something else.
How do I load the film?
It takes about 30 seconds. There is a guide in the box and a short video in your welcome email. Once you have done it once it is easy, and the camera is designed so the common mistakes are hard to make. If you would rather someone talked you through it, message us and we will.
How fast do I get my photos?
Within 72 hours of your film reaching us, so normally about 7 days from when you post it. We do not sit on them. Getting them back is the best part.
What if I mess up the shots?
Honestly, you will. Some will be blurry, some overexposed, one or two double-exposed by accident. That is part of it, and usually the good part. A person checks every roll, so if something has genuinely gone wrong we tell you rather than sending you 24 blank frames. We also email tips to help you get more out of each roll.
What if my film gets lost in the post?
It happens to about 1 in 1000 rolls. Reinforce the mailer bag, or upgrade to a tracked delivery if a roll really matters.
Can I get prints?
We do not sell prints directly. You get high-resolution digital scans that are easy to share and easy to print wherever you like. Most people print one or two once they have seen the whole roll.
Is there a warranty on the camera?
Yes, 90 days if the camera is faulty. Email us with your order number and we will send a replacement.
Does this work for weddings and events?
Yes. For a whole table or a whole weekend, look at our camera and film kits, which give you multiple cameras so everyone shoots the same event from every angle.
Do you ship outside the UK?
Not yet. Message us on Instagram @catchcameras if you are really keen and we will see what we can do.
Your next trip is coming. Will you remember it?
A reusable camera you keep forever, 3 rolls of film and 3 developing credits today, and 3 more every 3 months. Cancel whenever you like.
