No! Once your film is loaded, do not open the back of your CATCH camera, as this will expose the film to light and damage your photos. Always make sure the film is fully wound back in before opening the back.
What happens if I open the back of the camera before the film is finished?
Opening the back of the camera before the film is fully used will expose the film to light, ruining the photos. Always ensure the film has been fully wound back in before opening the back.
What do I do once my film is finished?
Once you’ve used the film (when the counter reads 24 or 36, or the winder stops), simply follow the instructions for developing. You can send the film to us for digital development, or take it to a local film lab. Make sure to finish the film and remove it safely before development.
